Day 4
Well it serves me right - eating 4 steaks then going straight to bed is a ridiculous idea

We still haven’t quite worked out the bar etiquette but it seems that you just order and they remember what all your drinks have been and you pay at the end - probably

How pleased was I

The only thing missing from the picture was the potato omelette but from top to bottom we have mini steer burger, aubergine and tuna pasta bake, cheese croquettes and chips and spinach with chickpeas

Although their ode to Dr Who needed a bit of work

We then meandered through the gorgeous streets

Until we found where Boris comes for his holidays

That got us all hot under the collar (now 31 degrees) so we stopped for a beer

...before heading home for a little siesta - when it’s this hot you really do have to think the locals have a point

The show was very good with this time the bloke being the star whilst the lady was not as good as the one from the last show

Which were delicious

We then walked back to “our little pub” through the backstreets

And had one last glass of wine

A great ending to a lovely day
So, come the morning I was feeling a little tired and had the prospect of shopping to look forward to
Luckily there was breakfast beforehand - croissants filled with cheese and Iberian Ham and freshly squeezed orange juice - lovely
We then did some souvenir shopping before calling into one of our locals for a well deserved beer
We still haven’t quite worked out the bar etiquette but it seems that you just order and they remember what all your drinks have been and you pay at the end - probably
We did a little more shopping before Joss got hungry so we found a place for us to try our first ever tapas
And the good news was that they also served proper sized beers !!!
How pleased was I
Here’s our tapas
The only thing missing from the picture was the potato omelette but from top to bottom we have mini steer burger, aubergine and tuna pasta bake, cheese croquettes and chips and spinach with chickpeas
All absolutely delicious
We then had a wander and found the El Salvador church
Don’t let anyone tell you there isn’t money in religion
Although their ode to Dr Who needed a bit of work
We then meandered through the gorgeous streets
Until we found where Boris comes for his holidays
That got us all hot under the collar (now 31 degrees) so we stopped for a beer
...before heading home for a little siesta - when it’s this hot you really do have to think the locals have a point
After getting ready we trotted off to the flamenco show (via a bar) only to find that a queue had already formed
We were still in good time though and we were this close to the stage
The show was very good with this time the bloke being the star whilst the lady was not as good as the one from the last show
The wailer was better but I reckon I could still beat him ....
We then walked round for a bit and destiny dragged us back to our favourite restaurant where we both had meatballs
Which were delicious
Joss was not happy about leaving Seville tomorrow
We then walked back to “our little pub” through the backstreets
And had one last glass of wine
A great ending to a lovely day
